"Children's Stars" in Germany

WWK-Gebäude München

In Germany the "Children's Stars" (Kindersterne) are a well-known symbol representing the dignity and inalienable rights of all children. Four 26m steel masts in front of the WWK headquarters in Munich each support one of these stars, which are illuminated internally.

Altogether four ENDURA 100W systems have been employed. With a 60,000-hour life span at 11,000 lm luminous flux the ENDURA system offers an incredibly luminous compact design package for lighting extensive surfaces. The 7-year maintenance cycle (despite 24-hour operation) has been warmly embraced by the building's inhouse technicians responsible for the stars.
